Flying In
For those flying into Providence Airport (PVD), there will be a few people at the conference with cars. If you contact us beforehand (lcs@conlang.org), we will most likely be able to arrange pick-up for you. We may also be able to arrange drop-off for you, as well, depending on what time you're leaving. Please get in touch with us ASAP if you think you'll need transporation to and from the airport and/or the conference.
Locals
If you live near Brown University and will have the use of a car during the conference, please let us know if you can help us out with ride-sharing.
Accommodation
Many of those attending the conference are staying in the relatively cheap hotels/motels in nearby Seekonk, Massachusetts, two of which are listed below:
At least one person with a car will be staying at each of these motels. If you're interested in staying somewhere cheap that's a bit farther away, you might consider one of these two. If you stay there, let us know, so we can be sure to help arrange transportation to and from the conference for everyone.
Important Note: If you're staying at the Shangri La Inn, they offer a free shuttle to the Providence airport. The Knights Inn, however, does not offer this service.
